JETBLUE Airways and Southwest Airlines have both suggested they may have to raise prices this year to combat rising fuel costs. Indications that ”5 to $10 may be added to fares have been raised by executives concerned they can not sustain cheap prices against large fuel bills. The carriers add they may need to put up fares to stay viable and make money.
