VENICE has become the latest destination for Jet2, the budget subsidiary of Dart Group plc/ Channel Express, based at Leeds Bradford Airport. Tickets have now gone on sale for the new four times per week service which starts next April and uses Marco Polo Airport, literally a boat ride from ”La Serenissima” ” the serene city and one of the most popular tourist destinations on earth. Launched in February 2003 the airline now serves some 12 destinations from the Yorkshire airport.
