Middle Eastern budget carrier Jazeera Airways is to launch a new route between Kuwait and London Luton Airport.
The Kuwaiti airline will initially operate four weekly flights between Luton and Kuwait International Airport from 8 July before the route is scaled up to a daily service from 1 August.
Jazeera Airways plans to use Airbus A320neo aircraft on the new route with a flying time of around seven hours — it will be the airline’s longest route in its network.
The carrier previously operated flights between Kuwait and London Gatwick but this route was cancelled in August 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
