Air passengers flying to Italy are being warned that their flights could be delayed by a strike by some unions representing airport staff.
Industrial action by airport staff in Italy is set to go ahead on Wednesday (July 26) for four hours between 13.00 and 17.00. Some Alitalia staff are also due to go on strike during the same four-hour period.
Easyjet said in a message to customers: “We plan to operate our full flying programme to and from Italy on Wednesday. However there is the potential of delays on the day due to the industrial action.
“Please be assured that we‘re working closely with the airport authorities to minimise any impact this may have to our flights and customers.”
