AIR FRANCE and Canadian officials continue to investigate the causes of last week”s crash at Toronto”s Pearson Airport. The Airbus A340 skidded off the runway on landing during heavy rain, and ended up in a ravine, fortunately just missing one of Canada”s busiest highways. None of the 309 passengers and crew onboard were killed. The aircraft”s flight recorders have been sent to Paris for analysis and initial results are expected to be released this week.
