ELBA, the tiny Italian island off the Tuscany coast and the location of Napoleon Bonaparte”s first exile, is to be linked by air this summer after all. With the previous incumbent deciding not to continue services InterSky will operate a Saturday flight from Munich until mid-October using a 50-seat DHC Dash 8-300 turboprop. Flight time is 1 hour 40 minutes. The airport”s runway is just over 1100m long. The regular ferry service continues to connect the island with the mainland. http://www.intersky.biz
