Icelandair is extending its seasonal summer route from Reykjavik to Vancouver to become a year-round service.
The airline, which also flies from seven UK airports to its Reykjavik base, will continue operating to Vancouver throughout the forthcoming winter season.
Birkir Holm Gudnason, CEO of Icelandair, said: “The flight to Vancouver has been favourable and we see opportunities to improve our transatlantic network with all the connections from Europe.”
The new winter flights to Vancouver will initially operate on two days per week, which will then increase to three days per week in 2018.
