NIGHT FLIGHTS” opponents received a boost from the House of Lords as peers rejected government calls to raise the number of ”anti-social” movements at London”s busiest airports. The upper house voted by a majority of 40 to keep the night flight cap in place at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. The issue was raised as peers debated the civil aviation bill.
