HOOTERS, the US fast food chain noted for its scantily clad staff, is pulling out of the scheduled airline business after three years. As of last July, the airline was serving 15 locations but has gradually withdrawn operations and will fly for the last time as a public service airline on 17 April. Private charters will continue. Hooters chairman Bob Brooks said he hoped to ”have a little fun” in an industry that had always fascinated him. ”The flying industry is in a terrible mess,” Brooks said. ”I”ve got a fair amount of money, but I don”t have enough to fix this little lot!”
