HAWAIIAN AIRLINES, still trading under Chapter 11, is to introduce a non-stop service to Sydney, beginning in May with a scheduled time of 10 hours. Hawaiian will join Qantas and Air Canada as the only carriers offering direct service between Honolulu and the capital of New South Wales. The airline plans to operate four weekly flights using Boeing 767-300 aircraft. The 10-hour route is the carrier's first new international destination in recent times. Hawaiian also currently flies to Tahiti.
