MOSCOW'S Domodedovo International Airport is to be further developed at a cost of $500m over the next five years.
Top-priority projects include doubling the area of the passenger terminal; extension of the parking facilities, and the installation of a new baggage-separation system with a higher level of aviation security.
The range of services for air passengers will be extended in 2006 and embrace a minihotel for transfer passengers. Also new will be a trade and entertainment centre ”Domodedovo Plaza”, a cinema complex, and ”a cafe on the roof” with viewing positions enabling visitors to actually see the airport in full.
