Just a week after entering service, a new large-cabin, long-range Gulf Stream G450 business jet, established a new intercontinental city-pair speed record, flying 3,550 nautical miles in record time at an average speed of Mach .85. The G450 set its first speed record on its way to Geneva (Switzerland), where it was displayed at the annual European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE). Flight attendant Kitty Ramage and four passengers were also on board. Sadly as far as we know, no scheduled operation is planned, or any other across the North Atlantic from the north London airport, the UK”s busiest executive jet base.
