GULF AIR is to be the major and naming rights sponsor (and official carrier), for the 2004 Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix, scheduled for 4 April 2004. The airline says its involvement in the Grand Prix extends well beyond sponsorship to other operational and logistical questions as well as discussions between the airline and with the relevant authorities.
