MOSCOW is the latest offering of Germanwings from Cologne/Bonn. A three times per week service has been introduced to Moscow Vnukovo, which claims to be the nearest airport to the city centre and is little used for international services. The new route is especially useful for travellers based in Birmingham, Dublin and Edinburgh, who can connect over Cologne/Bonn to the Russian capital. Germanwings also serves Vnukovo from Berlin-Sch”nefeld.
