GERMANWINGS is the latest arrival at Stansted with a three times daily service to Cologne using Airbus A319 aircraft with leather seats and in-flight video. The airline sells its in-flight catering services but includes a weekly rotation of food themes including what it terms ”Fit Through Winter”. The airline flies to 10 other destinations from Cologne including Istanbul (from 3 December), not yet on the UK budget airline map. The airline is part of Eurowings, 24% owned by Lufthansa.
