DORNIER 328 future prospects look bright with the news that German Chancellor Gerhard Schr”der and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao were at a ceremony in Berlin for the signing of a contract by Hainan Airlines for a further 20 328JETS. This contract converts five previous options to firm orders, to be delivered in 2004, plus an additional 15 328JETS with delivery dates into 2007. Hainan already operates a 27-strong fleet of 328JETS. Dornier owner, US based AvCraft, plans to deliver the first all new Dornier 328JET by the year”s end and will be at Farnborough.
