The inaugural Flydubai service to Kinshasa landed this weekend, marking the airline’s launch of daily flights to the Congolese capital with a stopover in Entebbe, Uganda.
Flydubai claims to be the first UAE carrier to create a link with Kinshasa. It says the service creates a gateway for passengers from the GCC, Russia and the Indian subcontinent into central Africa and vice versa through its codeshare agreement with Emirates.
Flights leave Dubai daily at 0800, landing at Entebbe International for an hour before continue on to Kinshasa and arriving at 1420 local time. The return service departs at 1520 and arrives in Dubai at 0345 local time.
Business Class return fares include 40kg of checked baggage.
