FLYBE, which claims to be the UK”s third largest budget airline, has announced a massive expansion to its route network for next summer. The carrier is substantially boosting capacity to more than 5m seats network-wide, with the introduction of 16 new routes. Belfast City gains Edinburgh, Exeter and Glasgow whilst from Birmingham Perpignan is added. From Bristol Bergerac, Bordeaux and Jersey joins the network whilst Exeter adds Alicante, Belfast City (as mentioned), Edinburgh, Faro, Glasgow and Malaga. New from Southampton are Glasgow, La Rochelle, Limoges and Perpignan. Tickets on all the routes went on sale last week.
