FLYBE is to make a £4m investment into a re-launch of its premium service, Economy Plus, at the same time heavily criticising British Airways for dropping business class on some routes.
Currently 40% of the airline's passengers are travelling on business according to FlyBe the highest percentage of any UK budget airline.
”Economy Plus” now includes airport executive lounges, dedicated check-in for those with hand baggage only 20 minutes for domestic services and 45 minutes for European routes.
”Economy Plus” passengers can book via the website or through the FlyBe call centre, can pre-select their seats and can change their tickets up to two hours before departure at no charge.
Other benefits include complimentary refreshments from the ”Deli in the Sky” selection and 30kgs of hold baggage.
