First customer is FlyBe and it is more than likely that the aircraft on display at next week's Farnborough Air Show will be displayed in the colours of the Exeter (UK) based airline who has ordered 14.
Other commitments include GECAS, the aircraft leasing company, Royal Jordanian and Swiss.
FlyBe is expected to take delivery of its first aircraft in the autumn, the Southampton-Edinburgh route pencilled in for the winter season with the new aircraft.
The current order book for the Embraer 170 and its derivatives stands at just over 450.
