EXEL AVIATION , the Dutch airline group, has added another feather to its bow with the launch of a third airline in the Caribbean, the fourth new airline it has launched in the past three months. The new operator DutchCaribbeanExel will inaugurate operations on July 1 flying initially from Amsterdam to Cura”ao, becoming the third airline on the route, alongside Dutch Caribbean Airlines and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The start-up is looking to acquire a single Boeing 767-300ER for the three-times weekly service, which will connect with its partner carriers ArubaExel and BonairExel to provide onward links in the region. The other new airlines in the Exel Group are HollandExel, which launched operations from Amsterdam following the demise of Air Holland, Belgium Exel, which took over much of Sobelair's long-haul services at Brussels and AlsaceExel, which has recently launched services from Strasbourg to other European cities.
