Eva Air is to increase frequencies on its restored London Heathrow-Bangkok-Taipei service due to “high demand” for the route.
The Taiwan-based carrier will increase flights on the route from three flights per week to five services from the start of August when services will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The service’s stop in Bangkok is only due to resume next month after a two-year absence due to the pandemic after Thailand eased its travel restrictions.
Eva Air will continue to operate the route five times per week through to the end of September with a view to increasing flights further “depending on performance”.
Sarah Wu, EVA Air’s general manager in London, said: “We are really pleased that we have been able to add on more flights, so soon after the announcement of the London-Bangkok-Taipei relaunch.
“The addition of these extra days gives our customers more flexibility. If demand remains high, we are well on the way to returning to our daily service later in the year.”
