EVA AIR, the Taiwan based airline, and part of the massive shipping group, has taken delivery of the first of 10 Airbus A330-200. The new aircraft will initially be deployed on routes to Manila, Hong Kong and Macau. A second aircraft arrives later this month and, like its sister, will show case the carrier”s new generation of business class, called Premium Laurel, incorporating a 61-inch seat pitch. All passengers can use a Matsushita in-flight entertainment system that offers a choice of 10 films, 12 TV shorts, more than 500 pieces of music and five PC games.
