EVA AIR, the Taiwanese airline, is to launch a fifth weekly direct Bangkok service commencing 29 October. The flight continues on to Taipei. Boeing 747-400 Combi aircraft will be used featuring the carriers' pioneering four class cabin configuration with 162 economy class, 86 Evergreen Deluxe, 16 business class and 8 Super First Class seats. EVA Air also provides four non-stop services to Bangkok per week. The airline broke new ground back in 1991 when it introduced the now popular four class layout.
