Emirates revealed the updated design for its Boeing 777 fleet this weekend at the Dubai Airshow.
The refreshed interiors include a new First class private suite (main picture) with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. It features 40 square feet of personal space for each suite, a leather seat that reclines into a fully flat bed, storage space and a video call service that allows passengers to speak to cabin crew during the flight, as well as a personal mini bar and a 32-inch HD TV with in-flight entertainment. Suites in the middle row can view a real-time video feed of the exterior of the plane to see the sky as if they had windows.
Emirates says the design is inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and has teamed up with Mercedes to bring a fleet of the cars to its chauffeur service, which is complimentary for First class passengers.
In Business class (pictured below), Emirates has introduced new seats with ergonomically designed headrests, a pitch of 72 inches and the ability to recline into a fully flat bed. Each seat has privacy panels and a touch-screen TV for in-flight entertainment.
Lastly, Economy seats (pictured below) now feature leather adjustable headrests and HD screens with multiple viewing angles for in-flight entertainment.
