Emirates, the Dubai-based airline of the United Arab Emirates, has agreed to expand its relations with Sabre Airline Solutions by upgrading their PC AirFlite software to the latest product, Sabre AirFlite.
The technology will support the airline”s flight scheduling activity, from initial strategic planning to seasonal schedules and short-term adjustments. Sabre”s latest offering promises enhanced schedule publication, passenger connection analysis and code-share handling.
The airline”s vice president of schedule planning and network optimisation said: ”We like PC AirFlite but the demands of being one of the world”s fastest growing airlines, and the resulting need for greater functionality, led us to upgrade to Sabre Airline Solutions” premier flight scheduling tool. The enhanced features will help make our business more efficient and profitable.” Alongside the deal with Sabre Airline Solutions, Emirates also signed an agreement with lastminute.com, who will now become the sole worldwide supplier of hotel products to the Emirates website.
