EIRJET, a new Irish carrier, is now operational introducing an Airbus A320-200 from debis AirFinance one of the world”s largest aircraft leasing companies. Eirjet plans to operate three A320s this summer from Dublin and Shannon serving the Irish sun holiday market. The airline expects to develop a secondary wet lease business providing capacity for other airline operators. Managing director is Paul Sch”tz, previously with Virgin Express.
