Flights have been disrupted at Edinburgh airport as it experienced a “power outage” this morning.
The Scottish airport was hit by the power cut at around 9am on Wednesday (June 28), which affected check-in and security systems, as well as the lighting within the terminal.
Electricity began being restored within the airport terminal after around an hour, according to Edinburgh airport’s Twitter feed.
“Power is returning to the terminal,” said the airport. “We're working to restore systems and allow passengers to continue their travels as soon as possible.
“The safety and security of our passengers is priority, please work with us as we fix the issue.”
