BELFAST has had a busy weekend with easyJet launching no less than five new routes.
On Friday the budget carrier introduced services to Inverness, Geneva and Rome, followed by the commencement of flights to Berlin (Schoenefeld) and Palma (Mallorca) on Saturday.
Such has the success of the new, originally summer only, route to Faro (Portugal), the airline now says that the service will now continue through the winter.
easyJet now operates 19 routes from its Northern Ireland base, using five aircraft. Much of the outbound traffic originates from the Irish Republic.
