EasyJet has today introduced a new fare bundle, Standard Plus, which will pull together a seat at the front of the plane (an ‘Up front’ seat), a large cabin bag, speedy boarding and dedicated easyJet bag drop.
The new bundle sits between the airline’s basic fare offering, Standard, and its business-focused Flexi Fare.
The fare will only be shown during booking if Up front seats are available. Pricing for Standard Plus will reflect the existing variable pricing structure for easyJet’s current Up front seat prices which start from £7.99.
Passengers may still select their seats or add a hold bag later in the booking.
Sophie Dekkers, easyJet’s chief commercial officer, said: “Having our three fare options – the Standard Fare where customers can find the lowest prices without any of the extras, the Standard Plus which bundles up key benefits and the Flexi Fare which includes added flexibility – means we can help customers quickly select all the products best suited to their needs.”
