EasyJet is to launch a new UK domestic route between Belfast City and Glasgow airports.
Flights will start from 31 October with three weekly departures on Monday, Thursday and Friday throughout the winter season to 24 March 2023.
The move is part of easyJet’s expansion at Belfast City after launching services to London Gatwick and Liverpool during the past year. A route to Bristol is also due to start from next month.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager, said: “This new route further strengthens our network in Belfast. Adding such choice has proved hugely popular with our customers and we are pleased to be offering further connectivity for those looking to explore and enjoy all the UK has to offer this winter.”
Ellie McGimpsey, aviation manager at Belfast City, added: “Following the success of easyJet’s flights from Belfast City to London Gatwick and Liverpool, and with flights to Bristol taking off in September, we are thrilled to strengthen our partnership with the addition of a service to Glasgow.”
