EASYJET will allow foreign shareholders to own up to 45% of the airline as it relaxes its rules on ownership. The move, which the airline said would give more flexibility to shareholders, follows Icelandair-owner FL Group taking a higher stake recently. However, the rise from the 40% limit will not affect the Haji-Ioannou family”s holding of 41% and they said the carrier was still not for sale.
