EasyJet will launch 13 new UK routes this winter, including flights to Germany, Austria, France and Hungary.
The budget carrier plans to introduce multiple flights to Nuremberg in November, with twice-weekly services departing from Manchester from 2 November, while an additional twice-weekly service from London Gatwick will commence on 19 November and flights from London Luton will begin on 23 November, operating three times weekly.
EasyJet will also commence a new service from Manchester to Vienna from 19 November, with flights operating “up to two times a week”.
New flights to Budapest are also set to launch in November from three UK airports. Services from Bristol and Belfast International will begin on 17 November, operating twice weekly, while flights from Liverpool will start on 19 November, also operating twice weekly.
Additionally, twice-weekly services from London Luton to the Moroccan capital Rabat will launch on 5 November, followed by services between London Southend and Lyon, France, from 3 December, and flights from London Southend to Sharm El Sheikh from 4 January, both operating twice weekly.
In Scotland, a new twice-weekly service from Edinburgh to Tromsø, Norway, will commence on 30 November, while flights from Glasgow to Krakow, Poland, will begin on 13 November, also operating twice weekly.
The carrier also plans to introduce its first international route from the Isle of Man, with a new weekly service to Geneva starting on 19 December. The route will provide the only direct connection between the Isle of Man and Switzerland, according to easyJet.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet's UK country manager, said the 13 new routes are “a real statement of our commitment to giving customers across the UK more choice from their local airport”.
