EASTERN AIRWAYS has introduced a triangular route linking Wick to Aberdeen and Inverness. The airline has based a BAe Jetstream at Wick, the UK”s most northerly mainland airport. The service increases the number of flights on Eastern”s existing Aberdeen ” Wick route and also creates new links between Wick and Inverness and Inverness and Aberdeen, giving passengers the opportunity to connect to Eastern”s other 11 destinations throughout the UK from the North of Scotland. The schedule allows for a day return between Inverness and Wick, an arduous single carriageway road journey of just over 100 miles. HolidayTaxis.com, nominated for ”Best Innovative Travel Company” at this year”s Travel Weekly Awards, say when it comes to transfers, people value their space.
