MANSTON AIRPORT near Broadstairs, Kent, has at last seen the introduction of PJ McGoldrick”s Irish based airline EUjet. Mr McGoldrick, a former Ryanair CEO, was also involved with the defunct TransAer and HeavyLift Cargo Airlines. EUjet was created last year as a collaborative venture including debis AirFinance (part of the Daimler Chrysler group). Also involved is the airport”s owner, PlaneStation Group plc. Kent County Council has come in with financial assistance.
