EOS, the executive airline operating out of Stansted, created a strong image at the Business Travel Show with a cleverly designed stand epitomising the actual aircraft layout. Since the introduction of its daily services to JFK at the beginning of December the airline says that the passenger loads have met expectations, the only change being a move from a morning departure westbound to 1830. ”That”s what our clientele have asked for,” says chief executive David Spurlock. Plans are to introduce a second service in May, with discussion still going on regarding an 1100 or 1500 departure from the Essex airport. There would then be two evening flights from Kennedy. Mr Spurlock said that the airline had been nicely surprised by the demand for executive charter operations, the 48-seat aircraft ideal for corporate work and sports teams.
