DENIM AIR, a somewhat short lasting user of London City and based at Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands, has recently purchased four Fokker 50 aircraft. Two were sold to VLM the other pair added to Denim Air”s own fleet, bring it up to 12 Fokker 50 fleet plus five Dash 8 Q300 aircraft, all of which are operating on long-term wet leases to Air Nostrum of Spain. The two new Fokker 50s will be used to increase capacity for ACMI wet leases and to expand the network of Denim Air currently operating daily scheduled services in Germany between Augsburg ” Berlin Tempelhof and Augsburg ” D”sseldorf. This year Denim Airw will also operate regular flights to Bra” and Zadar in Croatia and Naples and Cagliari in Italy.
