DELTA AIR LINES has come up with a scheme which hopefully will make boarding much easier for passengers on busy international flights and follows a similar system introduced earlier this year on domestic services. With the new staggered zone boarding procedure a zone number is be printed on the customer”s boarding card. The zone is called rather than row numbers. BusinessElite customers and Medallion members of Delta”s frequent flyer programme, SkyMiles, and Elite Plus members of SkyTeam, will continue to receive priority boarding. It will be interesting to see if other airlines follow suit.
