CONCORDE will continue to fly into the future according to Steve Keenan writing in The Times. He said that after Concorde”s final flight, six of the seven jets will be grounded, the other is likely to be kept operational at Filton airport, Bristol, where it was built. It is also the home of the Concorde simulator. The aircraft could then be made available at air shows and major events as a BA promotion alongside other notable aircraft such as those in the RAF and Navy historical flights. Concorde, in BA colours, could then be available to make a flypast at Kitty Hawk on 17 December on the one hundredth anniversary of Wilbur Wright”s first flight, as suggested by ABTN. http://www.ba.com
