CONCORDE is finally to be laid to rest at Filton Bristol, Manchester Airport (already delivered), the Museum of Flight - Edinburgh, Heathrow Airport, Boeing Field - Seattle (again delivered), The Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum - New York and Grantley Adams Airport, Bridgetown, Barbados. ABTN is proud to have promoted the Intrepid bid which will allow New Yorkers and visitors to that great city a view of what the British aviation industry was all about (and to a lesser extent the French). Cruise line passengers in the next door dock will also be able to take stock of transport history. The aircraft is due to be delivered to JFK today (Monday 10 November). We reiterate our view that one aircraft should appear over Kitty Hawk on Wednesday 17 December, the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers first successful powered flight. A fitting end to the Concorde story.
