CONCORDE continues to gain maximum media exposure with Air France delivering aircraft to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington and the National French museum at Le Bourget. BA reports very heavy bookings on the remaining daily services to New York, and you can even win a flight via The Times. The Smithsonian will finish up like Le Bourget with not one, but two Concorde, British Airways confirmed as a donator of an aircraft. A possible delivery date could be Wednesday 17 December, the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers historic flight, with President Bush due at Kitty Hawke. The decommissioned aircraft will in any event require a special one off certificate of airworthiness to cross the Atlantic for the delivery flight. http://www.ba.com
