CLUB 328, the new brand name of AoC holder Bookajet of Southampton, is to introduce Dornier 328 Jet flights from London City Airport from the end of October. In conjunction with Club Airways the Southampton-based company will offer members only flight from the LCY executive centre. Also planned is an all-new service to Paris Le Bourget. Club328 is working closely with manufacturer AvCraft to get the Dornier 328Jet approved for the airport. Flight trials took place at the end of July and certification is on target for the end of September. Minor retrofit work to the flight control systems will be undertaken in early October to enable the 328Jet to be ready for LCY operations by the end of October. Club328 has expanded its management team with the appointment of Mike Ryan as director sales and Mike Farge, managing director ” engineering, both based at the company's Southampton Airport base.
