Clickair, the new Spanish low cost carrier, backed by Iberia, which made its maiden flight last Sunday, revealed that it is coming into Heathrow next summer. Seville and Valencia will be its first destinations.
No other true budget airline operates into the world”s busiest international airport. Although some of the fares offered, even by the generic carriers, are among the cheapest point to point, true low cost.
Clickair said that by the end of 2008 it will have 30 aircraft and 70 routes. Presently its web site is only in Spanish.
