CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES, one of the most aggressive and forward looking far eastern airlines, will be starting flights between Shanghai and London later this year according to reports emulating from the Civil Aviation Administration of China. At the present time only Virgin Atlantic operate the route. The Chinese capital Beijing is served by British Airways and Air China. Talks between Chinese and UK aviation regulators will start in the middle of February to hammer out details of a new agreement to increase two-way flights.
