BRITISH MIDLAND PLC, the owner of bmi, bmi regional and bmibaby, has
confirmed that chairman Sir Michael Bishop has increased his personal
shareholding in the airline group by the acquisition of the minority
interests in The BBW Partnership Ltd, also registered at Donington
Hall. Sir Michael now owns 50% plus 1 share, Lufthansa has a
shareholding of 30% minus 1 share and SAS Scandinavian Airlines 20%.
