SINGAPORE Changi Airport has opened a Chair Spa, a new way to spend time when the aircraft is sitting on the ground between London and Australia. Travellers who fancy a rejuvenation can choose from six massage chairs in an environment which offers full body, stiff shoulder, lower back or acupressure massage after a flight. The massage services, which come complete with aroma oils to stimulate the senses, servings of fruit tea, refreshing towels and an eye-mask. They cost S$10 for 15 minutes (subsequent 15 minutes S$8, or S$25 for an hour). The Chair Spa is located within the Relaxation Lounge in Terminal 2. It also has a reading corner, a television lounge and eight free Internet access kiosks for passengers to surf the Internet or access their e-mails. It might be useful after some of SIA”s really long flights but so far ABTN has not been asked to test!
