POLAND”S newest low cost, single-class airline will launch its inaugural flights to Gatwick tomorrow (1 February) from both Warsaw and Krakow. A budget division of LOT Polish Airlines (who supply both Boeing 737-400 aircraft and engineering support), Centralwings is also to serve Hanover, Cologne, Nuremburg, Barcelona and Gerona from its Polish hubs over the coming months. The airline aims to carry more than 800,000 passengers across its network by the end of 2005. Flights will start from ”4.50 each way (excluding taxes and charges) and will be sold mainly via the Centralwings website, a call centre and selected travel agents.
