UNITED STATES federal court in San Francisco has ruled against a civil liberties activist pursuing a court case against Southwest Airlines and United Airlines for not allowing him on their aircraft when he refused to show some form of firm identification. He had argued that airlines requiring passengers to show ID was unconstitutional. On a more positive note Southwest have now introduced what it calls ”wireless” check-in. With ”hot spots” becoming more and more the norm checking in on one”s laptop was clearly the next step forward.
