CARDIFF AIRPORT is to join the Zoom Airlines UK network. The Canadian carrier has announced a weekly non-stop service to Toronto from next May using Boeing 767-300 aircraft offering both an economy and a premium class. Zoom will be the only airline with scheduled flights to Canada from Cardiff in summer 2005 and the only low cost transatlantic airline servicing Canada for the whole of Wales and the West of England. Zoom will schedule flights from Gatwick, Glasgow, Manchester and Cardiff to eight Canadian cities including Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
