Norwegian has reported a rise in passenger numbers due to strong business travel demand and a jump in its low-cost long-haul operations.
The airline carried almost 2.3 million passengers in April, an increase of 168,000 compared to the same period last year.
The load factor was 84.5 per cent, up 2.1 percentage points.
Norwegian's CEO Bjørn Kjos said: “We are very pleased that an increasing number of travellers are choosing Norwegian, not least business travellers.
“We see growth in the Nordics and in Europe in general, and the high demand for long-haul routes keeps growing."
